Join Bob White at the surf for a great chance to learn more about the art of surf fishing, to catch fish, or just to enjoy the beach and Fishing Club friends. October’s events are scheduled for the 19th and 23rd at Ocean Isle Beach.

Good Tuesday Morning John, Steve Pendergrass here. We meet in the Water Tower Public Parking Lot on the West End of the Island (intersection of W. 1st St and Beaufort St) just before 7 AM and go over to the surf from there. There is a ramp without steps, so beach fishing carts traverse nicely, but carts are not necessary. Bring a couple of rods with bottom rigs, fresh dead shrimp, artificial shrimp bites, a couple of sand spikes for you rods and a chair for your comfort. It is always a great time full of fun and fellowship. We usually break up around 10AM or just when ever, depending on the fish. Looking forward to seeing you in the surf John.
